Slatted Base – Strength You Can Trust
All LIFETIME beds are sold including a slatted base, with the option to choose the weight class that best suits your needs:
- Standard slats – recommended max. distributed weight: 150 kg
- Deluxe slatted base – recommended max. distributed weight: 200 kg
- Premium slats – recommended max. distributed weight: 200 kg
The slatted base defines the maximum weight capacity, meaning the bed is sturdy enough for parents to lie down comfortably for bedtime stories or occasional overnight stays.
Since 2023, LIFETIME bedsides have been redesigned to work with both standard and deluxe slatted bases. Beds purchased before 2023 may require new bedsides if switching slat types.
